This years event took place under leaden skies again. I think everybody got a good soaking.
Four teams represented us, HMS Sultan 2 carrying Ruth Moorhen and Hazel Russell and HMS Collingwood 2 carrying Penny South and Debbie Sharpe. Our thanks go out to all of them.
Hopefully loads of money has been raised.
Next years event will be the last at the location of Capel Curig. It will be in fancy dress to celebrate twenty years of the Snowdon Challenge. It will be a pity, time goes on. The farmer is selling up, the Forestry Commission are worrying about nesting birds and above all the number one man Gary Jones is hanging up his climbing boots with no replacement forth coming.
